Valmont Irrigation, Inc.
Valmont Irrigation, Inc. opened the doors of its new 300,000 square-foot, multi-million dollar irrigation equipment plant just south of McCook in January 2000. Valmont Industries is the world leader in the development and manufacture of mechanized irrigation equipment and technology. Tax Increment Financing, a Community Development Block Grant, State Training Funds and local incentives helped bring this project to reality in McCook. The expansion was recently named one of the outstanding 100 rural projects by the Nebraska Rural Development Commission. |
