Weather didn’t stop 206 participants in the 1st Annual Holiday Home Tour. McCook Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) Housing Committee was thrilled to have the excellent turnout on Saturday, December 3rd, 2005, which netted $1,750 to support the new Purchase, Rehab, Resale program for first-time homebuyers and homebuyer education classes.
The event started at the newly renovated McCook Christian Church where participants received goodie bags, program, map, and holiday refreshments made by Dawna Bates. The tour included the homes of John Kugler, Jerda & Cordell Svengalis, Becky & Kirk Kilpatrick and Renalle & Bob Loshbaugh. Over 70 volunteers were involved in the event.

Plans are well underway for the 2nd Annual MEDC Holiday Home Tour scheduled for Saturday, December 2nd, 2006.
