CRT Expands to New Building

Custom Response Teleservices (CRT) expands their McCook location by moving to the former Sitel building. Roger and Angie Price and Tim Kremer of CRT have indicated that moving to the new facility will enable them to increase the number of employees from their current number of 25 to 60 or more in the first year. CRT Inc. has been looking to expand for the past six months. "Based on the quality and caliber of our current employees in McCook the decision to expand was an easy one."

Rex Nelson, Executive Director of McCook Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) has been working with CRT for several weeks to facilitate the details of the project. MEDC will also help finance some of the costs for new equipment needed. "We are pleased to be a part of the expansion which will replace most of the jobs lost with Sitel's closing." Also part of the transaction is McCook Community Development Company LLC which originally developed the Sitel building and has entered into a lease with CRT. The LLC is a consortium of three area banks: McCook National Bank, AmFirst Bank and Wells Fargo Bank, and was formed to help finance economic development initiatives in the city. The firm opened for business in their new location mid-July 2004.
