MEDC Receives $25,000 Grant

NIFA Grant MEDC has recently been accepted as the newest outreach partner of the Nebraska Investment Finance Authority (NIFA). NIFA created the Outreach Partnership Program to provide assistance for capacity development of local housing organizations.

MEDC established the housing program through a capacity grant from the Department of Economic Development in 2001. Currently, MEDC provides quarterly Homebuyer Education classes and is applying for grants to develop a Purchase/Rehab/Resell program.
