In recognition of McCook’s 125th Celebration, we will showcase six (6) homes on Norris Avenue and East 1st Street near the historic Heritage Square. MEDC Housing Committee Member Colleen Grant is very pleased with the six homes that will be showcased on Saturday, December 1st from 1:00 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. Ms. Grant explained, “Tickets will cost $12.00 per person in advance and $15.00 at the door. Proceeds are designated for MEDC Housing matching funds for housing grants, Purchase Rehab Resale program, for first-time homebuyers and to support homebuyer education classes,” she added.

The tour includes the homes of Rob & Cheri Putz, John Clapp, Gary & Barb Wiemers, Tor & Holly Olson, Ron and Missy Nelson, and the Senator Ben Nelson Home. The Olson home will be open from 3:00 p.m.- 4:15 p.m. due to business hours. Headquarters for the tour is the Heritage Senior Center at 1312 West 5th Street.
